The Wild Game Feast

The Wild Game Feast

The rotary club hosted their annual wild game feast last week. This event has been going on for the past 36 years. The charitable event is sponsored by major businesses in the Gainesville, Florida area. They have raised over $2.25 million for great charities. Electro Freeze Southeast volunteered at the event, using the Electro Freeze CS600 for soft serve and the Nelson BDC8 to serve Italian Ice. Flavors included: watermelon, lemon, blue raspberry, mango and orange cream.
This year they donated to not only to one but three organizations. The first, Saving Smiles Dental Program. The second, Newberry High school's Beautification program. And lastly, refrigeration units for perishable foods for the Bread of the Mighty Food Bank. With a great turnout and a chance to give back to the community we were proud to represent Electro Freeze Southeast. We also would like to thank Honey Hill Farms for quality mix to make the delicious soft serve ice cream and iRice for the flavoring to create quality Italian Ices.
